Visit by the Vietnam Ministry of Foreign Affairs

The meeting provided an opportunity to share the AVPI’s key initiatives and discuss how our networks can support and strengthen Australia-Vietnam cooperation, including economic engagement, in line with priorities under the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. Discussions also explored how Australia could best support Vietnam’s hosting of APEC in 2027, as well as opportunities to strengthen joint Australia–Vietnam engagement with the Mekong sub-region.

This engagement underscored a shared commitment to connecting policymakers, business leaders and researchers to advance future collaboration. The AVPI looks forward to continued engagement with Vietnam’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Australian Government and our strategic partners.
