On Monday, 24 November 2025, the AVPI met with the Australian Political Exchange Council’s 26th Delegation from Vietnam.
The delegation was led by Mr Nguyen Tuong Lam, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, Permanent Vice Chairman of the National Committee on Youth of Vietnam, and President of the Vietnam Youth Federation.
Hosted in partnership with RMIT University and Asia Society Australia, the meeting provided an opportunity to share the AVPI’s work over the past year and priorities for the years ahead, including deepening people-to-people links, supporting youth leadership and fostering practical Australia-Vietnam collaboration.
During the discussion, the delegation asked questions and also shared updates on their own work in areas such as youth development, economic participation, digital transformation and innovation, highlighting opportunities to strengthen connections between Vietnamese and Australian institutions.
