We are thrilled to announce to launch the AVPI Hanoi Front Door, our new physical presence in Vietnam, officially inaugurated by Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, on 11 September 2025.

The AVPI partners with the Australian Government to 2028

We are proud to announce our partnership with the Australian Government through the Australian Embassy in Hanoi, which will grow our activities to 2028 and support the Australia-Vietnam Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.

We look forward to creating impact through this partnership and delivering a range of activities, engaging with business, government and industry in Australia and Vietnam to increase awareness and understanding of the opportunities across the bilateral relationship.

Australia Vietnam Policy Institute Conference 2025

Our flagship conference, AVPI25, was held in Brisbane on 28 October 2025.

AVPI25 brought together the AVPI’s national community of Knowledge Partners, businesses, government representatives, academia and NGOs to explore the theme ‘Accelerating Australia-Vietnam economic cooperation through smart, strong and sustainable business ties’.

AVPI Melbourne Front Door

The AVPI Front Door, a physical presence in Melbourne was officially inaugurated by Prime Minister of Vietnam, H.E. Phạm Minh Chính on 5 March 2024.

Our Melbourne Front Door marks a significant milestone and will create an additional link to Vietnam, fostering greater opportunities to further enhance the bilateral relationship.
