RMIT is a multi-sector university of technology, design and enterprise, with 96,277 students and close to 10,000 staff globally. RMIT first opened its doors in Vietnam in 2000 and has since grown to be the largest campus-based foreign university in the region, with two well-equipped campuses in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, and an English language centre in Danang.

RMIT has continued to consolidate its reputation as one of the world’s leading academic and research institutions. It was ranked 125th globally in the 2026 QS World Rankings and 10th in Australia. The University also placed 95th globally in the 2025 QS Sustainability Rankings for its work to address the Sustainable Development Goals.
